Donut Shop Closing on July 27

The Dipped Donut has been a fixture on Delaware, Ohio’s southside for the past five years. But, it is the final week for the establishment as it will close and undergo a rebranding effort.

The shop is closing on Saturday, July 27, as the owners focus on its sister business, Gluten Free from the Dipped, and expand its operations into the current location.

The impact that this transition holds for us is deeply personal, as we have experienced firsthand the challenges and sacrifices that individuals and families face with gluten intolerance.

“The impact that this transition holds for us is deeply personal, as we have experienced firsthand the challenges and sacrifices that individuals and families face with gluten intolerance. Our daughter’s journey has illuminated the critical need for a space where quality and taste are not compromised, and where everyone can relish the delights of gourmet treats, regardless of their dietary needs. In our pursuit for a more inclusive experience for all, we are expanding. We are wholeheartedly dedicated to providing incredible taste and quality without compromise, ensuring that joy is accessible to everyone,” ownership wrote on Facebook recently.

The Dipped Donut is open today until Noon, closed on Sunday and Monday, and open 6:30 a.m. until noon on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The Dipped Donus is located at 256 South Sandusky Street in historic Delaware, Ohio.
