National restaurant chain Shake Shack has announced it will close its Delaware County location in the coming months according to Fast Company.

The location, 1370 Polaris Parkway, is one of nine restaurants to be shuttered nationally by the chain. The sites were chosen based on current profitability and a dim forecast of future profitability for the national chain.

Locations to be closed include

  • California – Oakland, Bunker Hill, Culver City, Koreatown, Silverlake, Westfield Topanga
  • Ohio – Polaris
  • Texas – Houston, Montrose

According to Fast Company, Shake Shack is estimating costs to shutter these restaurants at $14,000,000 – $15,200,000 in the third quarter.
