Lazy Dawg Closes Doors
Lazy Dawg, a local hot dog shop, opened with great fanfare but didn’t make it a year as it closed in December.
The restaurant, located at 12 West William, opened in July and offered a collection of different hot dog collections from cities far and wide. However, a Facebook post on December 9, alerted customers that the business was closed.
“We regret to inform you that our business will be closing permanently. We want to express our deepest gratitude to all our customers for their support and loyalty. It has been a privilege to serve you, and we cherish the relationships we have built. Thank you for being a part of our journey.”

Unfortunately, we never had a chance to visit Lazy Dawg’s Restaurant and Bar. We liked the concept but Gretchen is only hungry for hot dogs on slim occasions and it never worked out.
Our server at Typhoon Restaurant this past weekend had worked at Lazy Dawg so it appears that at least some of the employees were absorbed into other restaurants in the ownership group.
