Delaware Adds Third Tim Hortons
The Passov Group announced on LinkedIn that they have secured a corporate lease for 900 Sunbury Road in Delaware, Ohio.
This would mark the third location in Delaware for a Tim Hortons while having another just a few miles south in Lewis Center. The company did close its location in Berkshire Township when the gas station it was housed in was rehabbed last year.
What does this mean for other Delaware stores? That could be an interesting situation as the other two are franchise-owned and this one appears to be corporate-owned. I have a hard time seeing anything replacing the West William location with drive-thru lines routinely to the street during rush hour.
However, this third location will be the first “coffee” shop on the drive-to-work side of Sunbury Road (US 36/State Route 37) so the morning traffic should be strong for this location.
The location is directly east of McDonalds along the rapidly developing east-side corridor.
