Target will soon offer other shopping alternatives in the fast-growing section of Liberty Township on Powell’s south side.
Columbus Business First is reporting that The Shoppes at Wedgewood will be built adjacent to the Target along Sawmill Parkway. The Target store was nearly a decade in the making due to lawsuits between community residents, the township, and the retailer.
Now the location is home to a Blue Sky Carwash, WesBanco, Tire Discounters, Taco Bell, and a Skyline Chili. Not to mention the additional retail that will be coming in as a result of the 43,000-square-foot building.
The area is ripe for additional growth as one of the few remaining pieces of developable ground along this section of Sawmill Parkway.
