
Delaware Schools Selling Former Administration Building

Delaware City Schools have hired an auctioneer to sell its former administrative offices in Delaware, Ohio.

The auction will be live on June 12 at 5:30 p.m. according to the posting by Ben Higgins Realty Auction Co. on auctionzip.com. The auction will be held at the Willis Educational Center Building at 74 West William Street in historic downtown Delaware.
The building at 248 North Washington Street is located in one of Delaware’s thriving historic neighborhoods. It served as the administrative office for Delaware City Schools for years until the renovation of Willis Education Center Building moved those function downtown. Making this building suprlus real estate.
According to Higgins, the property is 1.4 acres with an 8,769 square foot building on it. About 5,000 square feet of the building is leased to Goal Digital Academy which expires July 31.
Goal Digitial Academy is an online school based in Mansfield. The school has labs located in seven Central Ohio communities including Newark, Marion, and Mansfield. Delaware is still included as a location.
