The rumor mill in Delaware, Ohio runs like a small-town even though we’ve become a medium sized city.

Rosebud’s has been located at 15 East Winter Street since its opening, but rumors have it moving down the street to 3 West Winter Street and move into the location recently vacated by Cocinamos Bakery + Bistro.

Restauranter Josh Dalton shocked the community months ago when he announced the sudden closure of 1808 and Rosebuds. In a Facebook post on November 14, Dalton announced that the restaurant would be returning. Though no location was announced.

The 15 West Winter Street location was a hotbed for new restaurants as Dalton cultivated his ideas and developed them into finely tuned offerings before taking them into the Columbus market. Veritas was routinely considered one of the best restaurants in Columbus – before it relocated to downtown – and Speck also relocated to a trendier location in the city.

Spotting a smoker located in the alley way between the old Health Department buildings created further proof that the move is taking place. It is a great opportunity for Rosebuds to relocated to a beautiful and recently remodeled location that is significantly larger than its former home on the east side.

Good luck to the team at Rosebuds, however no answer to the top question on the new location … “Will Anna be there?”
